About us

Jämtkraft is a local power company in the north of Sweden that aims to provide you with the best possible service. Jämtkraft has produced power from renewable sources since it was founded in 1889. As a private customer, your power agreement always gives you 100% renewable energy. We sell electricity and district heating. Most of our customers are in Östersund, Krokom and Åre, but we sell electricity throughout Sweden. Most of the electricity we sell is produced by our own power plants.
